Repurpose It Challenge Card Catalog Side Table

It's another challenge folks and this time Mindi @ My Love 2 Create came up with the brilliant idea for a Repurpose It Challenge.

I choose to repurpose an old card catalog into a side table but you must see what my 7 other blogger friends came up with:

  • Amy @ Her Tool Belt: rustic arrow
  • Kim @ The Kim Six Fix: coat rack from hammers
  • Corey @ Sawdust 2 Stitches: repurposed dresser
  • Donna @ Funky Junk Interiors: reclaimed wood tray
  • Gail @ My Repurposed Life: dressing table repurposed desk
  • Kathy @ Crafty Chica: repurposed jewelry holder
  • Mindi @ My Love 2 Create: succulent planters from light fixtures
  • Jaime @ That's My Letter: card catalog side table

I took this dusty and beat up old card catalog that was given to me from a friend of a friend about 3 years ago:

Woodworking4Home Should You Buy it or Not A Consumers Review of John Metzs Woodworking4Home Package

The only reason I bought this Woodworking4Home e-Book is because it guarantees my money back if I am not satisfied. However I found the money I spent on the book is totally worth it. I was trying to build a play table for my little girl weeks ago, I couldnt find an easy-to-follow instruction and plan online, most of those free online
woodworking plans are not clear about the measurements and do not have detailed diagrams. Until I saw John Metzs Woodworking 4 Home plans and designs, I decided to give it a try. You know what? It is simply amazing!
What I really like best about Woodworking 4 Home is how detailed and simple the plans and designs are. First of all, I had never done any real woodworking before and building the table for my little girl was literally my first time hand-on experience. The instructions and diagrams in the book have made woodworking so much fun for me. My father-in-law and I spent just a few hours and done! Of course we did drive down to HD to get some tools we didnt have.
One of the biggest advantages of the Woodworking 4 Home package is that the level of your skills in woodworking will not matter. The plans included in the Woodworking 4 Home gallery are all designed to get tasks done quickly, inexpensively, and with professional results. So even if you think you were born with ten thumbs, you need not worry. With the step-by-step plans included in Woodworking 4 Home, you need not have any woodworking experience and you need not be a certified joiner or carpenter before you can work on your project.
There is 60 days full money back guarantee to the product so actually if you feel that you are not satisfied with this package you will get complete refund with not a single question.
I hope that this information will be helpful for you. If you have any question you are very welcome to contact me, I will try to help as much as I can.

Hello to everyone coming from Queen of Everything and welcome to Flea Market Swap!  Charlotte at Ciburbanity organized 33 bloggers for this massive swap and I'm so happy to partake.

Heather from Queen of Everything sent me the following items:
